Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities
With the firm belief that institutions of higher learning have the responsibility of "contributing to the improvement of human condition" the Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities (AAACU) formulated the following objectives, which have guided the AAACU in all its activities since its establishment:
enhance the effectiveness of programs in agricultural instruction, research and extension.
of promulgate plans, programs, and policies that will enable the members institutions to achieve common or similar goals.
ways and means by which member institutions maybe able to build strong linkages among institutions and agencies serving agriculture.
experiences among the members as to the means by which they can contribute more effectively to the advancement of human welfare in Asia.
The History of AAACU
On 1 May 1972, AAACU was officially formed during the Second Agricultural College and University Seminar at the Pines Hotel in Baguio City, Philippines.
